I recently completed "Attract and Engage Customers with Digital Marketing" and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Overall, I found the course to be very informative and well-organized.

The instructor Cindy, was a knowledgeable and engaging speaker. Her lectures was clear and thorough, and she did a great job of explaining complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. She was also very approachable and happy to answer questions or clarify any points that were unclear.

The course materials, including the assignment and supplementary readings, were relevant and helpful. The assignments were challenging but not overly burdensome, and they provided a good opportunity to apply what I had learned.

I especially appreciated the real-world examples and case studies that were incorporated into the course. These helped to bring the material to life and made it feel more relevant to my own interests and goals.

Overall, I would highly recommend Digital Marketing with Google to others. It was a valuable learning experience that I think would be beneficial for anyone interested in Digital Marketing.

An incredible improvement over the Foundations course (which I wish you could skip entirely in the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate track). Much more valuable explanations of tools and processes for ads on various platforms.

The only critique that I have is that some of the computer science concepts seem like they weren't reviewed by a subject-matter expert. For example I would never call an algorithm "an automated software" or schema "a type of code". This might seem minor, but in the case of the former I would argue "automated" is not even accurate in the search context (since they do flag and review certain search suggestions and results, including increasing or decreasing the ranking of websites). It can also give the false impression that algorithms are "objective" which they're not - they just do what people do but way faster.

The speaker for this course spoke very fast. It seemed like the videos were very rushed compared to the last course where I had time to take notes and comprehend the video. In these videos, I found myself having to pause, go back, and read the transcript to grasp what the speaker was saying and fully comprehend it. However, the topics were interesting and despite the speed, the videos were informative and helpful. I enjoyed the activities compared to the quiz-only format of the first course. It allowed me some hands-on practice of the concepts I learned.

This course was packed with a ton of excellent information. I learned a ton that will certainly be put to good use in the future. The only drawback was a couple of the spreadsheet exercises were rather vague upfront for a first-time beginner. It would have been more useful to review completed examples first (to better understand the ideal format and approach), followed by an exercise using different sample content, company profiles, etc. Otherwise, powerful course!
