How long does it take to complete the Professional Certificate?

What background knowledge is necessary?
A candidate for this certification should have 1-2 years professional development experience and experience with Microsoft Azure. In addition, they should have the ability to program in a language supported by Azure and be well versed in .Net and C#. They should be proficient in Azure SDKs, Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, data storage options, data connections, APIs, app authentication and authorization, compute and container deployment, debugging, performance tuning, and monitoring.
Do I need to take the courses in a specific order?
Yes. We highly recommend taking the courses of each certificate program in the order they are presented. The content in the courses builds on information from earlier courses. The final course contains a practice exam that assesses your knowledge of the content covered in the previous courses. It makes the most sense to take them in the order they come in.
