After taking this course, I can see where & how I can apply my skills and love for numbers. I am confident in my decision and cant wait to put all the pieces together.

Thank you, Coursera & Intuit!

This course was well put together. I used to feel so intimidated by finances. The interactive videos and practice exercises do a fantastic job of explaining concepts learned throughout this course.

Generally good. Would have been helpful if there were the final forms of the Income Statement, Trial Balance, and General Ledger so that you could compare your answers with the students. The entire section on Inventory, COGS was very confusing and not easy to follow.

The videos were a little cheesy and didn't cover debits and credits well enough. They literally said that the more I practice, the more I will understand without giving any instruction first. That is not helpful! If I practice incorrectly, I will learn incorrectly!

I thought the course was very interesting and I enjoyed the content however, I'm not sure if I missed something crucial in the course content but at the end I felt I was thrown into a bookkeeping final test without much actual practice beforehand.

Bianca is annoying. I am tired of hearing 'oh honey' in her Brooklyn/Boston accent. Where is she from? Is she made up? Also the 'expert' with the headset needs to format her thoughts before recording her videos. She says 'ummm' entirely too much.

I really enjoyed the course. I do wish there were more opportunities for more practice manually putting in data instead of a point and click option. I learn from actually doing the work not just reading and watching others show me now it's done.

There isn't enough depth in the coursework to answer some of these questions. If I hadn't had experience in some of this previously this inition course wouldn't have made any sense. It was too broad a topic with no depth to the lessons.

I learned a lot from the course however, the testing was completely different from the Intuit academy. However, I still feel like I learned the basics of bookkeeping but not a lot of the right information for studying for the exam

A lot of concepts were glanced over and not covered in detail. Practice assignments are confusing. I learned more just by taking the terms that were being covered and looking them up on youtube and accounting websites.

There was so much I still didn't know going into the Case Study Quiz at the end. I had to research outside of coursera to know how to fill in the general ledger. The course should have prepared us more for this.

Unless I missed a lot of the lectures or teachings, there wasn't much teaching of the accounts and how they were classified. I also couldn't keep up with the experts as they moved through the QuickBooks screens.

The course provides a basic understanding of the subject, but never truly allows the students to learn with enough practice problems/situations. You also can't find completed explanations for the final project.

glanced over some more intricate topics and went too in depth on others. Rather than interviews with bookkeepers - more practice and cases would be better. Bianca is condescending to my intellect.

Some important parts of Bookkeeping Basics like Payroll, Tax on Cryptocurrency etc which form parts of the Intuit Exams are missing. The Bookkeeping Basics on Coursera should be upgraded or updated.

Although I have no background in bookkeeping or accounting, I feel that this lesson should have been longer and more in depth. Overall, the way the subject is presented and taught is fine.

I think more practice would be great, make the practices harder less put this here, put this there. Let us think for ourselves. The best way to remember is repetition. Not enough of that.

Parts of the course were missing, in all weeks, generally in the 15 minute timeframes in the course overviews. I reported and received the "instructions" which did not resolve the issue.

Would be great but I was not made aware the exam was only available in the US. Would have been great to have that posted boldly before I took the course and spent days working on it.....

For a beginner, I think it lacks a lot of explaination of the concepts and how to use them. But it touches on everything. Just had to go to youtube for a more throughough explaination.

it should have had more exercises during the course, especially in the end, more deep comprehensive tests that give you a more detailed looks about real world scenarios

Cartoon is annoying. More case practice would be more helpful, especially with the time that passes from week one to final exam. Would rather have a professional teach.

It teaches you terminology and definitions, but the interactive portions are lacking. If you get something wrong there is no explanation to how or why, just wrong.

This course is great for a beginner, but I feel like it needs to go in depth more and add more preactice on the modules and explain how someone got the answer.

She should have explained things more elementary as its a fountation course. Things were not very clear and had to supplement with YouTube videos' on topics.

Great for learning the terms and language but lacked quite a bit in actual implementation of the bookkeeping process. A little disapointed in that aspect.
