Hello and welcome to our Capstone project. Hi, I'm Sean McMinn and you've been working with me, Dalen Gaskill, and Kim Tang for the last four courses in this specialization and we're really excited that you've made it this far. And now's your chance to be able to apply everything that you've learned, everything that you've practiced in the last four courses in an authentic, work-related type of scenario. What we've done is we've created a business case that involves some sort of problem. And we are asking you to identify what that problem may be and its related to a business situation within a cross-cultural context. And we want you to come up with recommendations. What we're hoping that you will be able to do is you'll be able to apply everything that you've learned in the last four courses that includes pronunciation skills, your stylistic skills, your word choice skills, your grammar. Your writing skills, your speaking skills, everything that you've done to organize a presentation and a written report and you'll be able to use those skills to produce two things for us. One is a presentation where you identify the problem, make recommendations and then the second, is a recommendation report, where you follow up from the presentation and you write in more detail about the problems and the recommendations. We provided more information about what we expect from you in this module and also throughout the course. Now how we've set up the Capstone project is we've identified different materials, different content from the last four courses that we think you should revisit and also watch or read and then participate in discussions related to the presentation project and also the written report project. So, each module will have recommended materials for you to revisit. We also have practice milestones, that is, we have projects that allow you to practice these skills that we'll be looking for in your Capstone project. And you will be evaluated and given recommendations by your peers. We also really recommend that you participate in the discussion forums. We fully believe in cooperative learning, so that means that you can work with your peers to help each other achieve your goals in this project course. We've set up some discussion forum prompts for you to initiate discussion, but if you have any other things that you will like to talk about or questions that you might have. Please use the discussion forum to share your ideas, to share your questions, even to possibly share videos of you practicing giving a speech. That way others can give you recommendations and you can further your skills. Great, thank you very much for participating in the specialization so far. We're really excited by everything. And congratulations and good luck on the final project. Thank you.
