About the Course

This course introduces the basics of Python 3, including conditional execution and iteration as control structures, and strings and lists as data structures. You'll program an on-screen Turtle to draw pretty pictures. You'll also learn to draw reference diagrams as a way to reason about program executions, which will help to build up your debugging skills. The course has no prerequisites. It will cover Chapters 1-9 of the textbook "Fundamentals of Python Programming," which is the accompanying text (optional and free) for this course. The course is for you if you're a newcomer to Python programming, if you need a refresher on Python basics, or if you may have had some exposure to Python programming but want a more in-depth exposition and vocabulary for describing and reasoning about programs. This is the first of five courses in the Python 3 Programming Specialization....

I just completed this course. This course serves as the inaugural step in the broader "Python 3 Programming" specialization. I found this course to be an educational journey with both merits and drawbacks.

On the positive side, this course is nothing short of comprehensive. It dives deep into the foundations of Python, leaving no stone unturned. Throughout the course, students are presented with a wealth of examples and exercises, which significantly enhances the learning experience. These practical applications serve as valuable tools for solidifying one's understanding of Python's core concepts. The structure of the course is notably well-crafted. Concepts are presented in a logical sequence, and the accompanying explanations are thorough, making it accessible for both beginners and those with some prior experience in programming.

However, it's not all sunshine and roses. The course's sheer length is a double-edged sword. While the extensive coverage ensures a well-rounded understanding, it also contributes to a sense of tedium at times. There are instances where certain sections feel unnecessarily prolonged, which can affect one's engagement with the material. Furthermore, I found this course incredibly boring.

In conclusion, this course is a commendable course for those seeking a comprehensive introduction to Python. The thorough content and effective pedagogy ensure that students emerge with a strong foundation in this versatile programming language. Nonetheless, the course's extended duration and occasional monotony might pose challenges for those looking for a more concise and engaging learning experience.

The content of too basic, the instructor was amazing. I loved the assignment submission procedure. The course was very well made and is definitely one of the bests on Coursera.

Thank you, and if you read this, I request you all to visit this, here you'll definitely find something impressive to learn.
