Bio

Benedict Oppong Asamoah, PhD, MPH, BPharm., is currently an associate researcher at the Division of Social Medicine and Global Health and course leader within the Master's Programme in Public Health at Lund University. His research combines the fields of Epidemiology, and Health Policy and Systems with a focus on the social determinants of maternal health in Ghana, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) research in sub-Saharan Africa and globally. He has worked as Pharmacist in different hospitals, community pharmacies and the pharmacy council. He has also worked as a researcher and team leader in different public health programmes and gained experience in implementation at the community level. He has public health degrees (MPH and PhD) from Lund University and a Pharmacy degree from Ghana.
