Lynsie is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Accounting within the School of Management. Lynsie is also the Programme Director of the MSc Professional Accountancy, providing the academic direction of the School’s pivotal role in a venture between ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and the University of London. This venture sees the first-ever Masters Programme integrated with a prestigious professional qualification delivered on-line. Lynsie holds a Masters and Undergraduate degree from the University of London, specialising within both degrees in Accounting, Financial Management and International Financial Systems. She has lectured and organised courses in the areas of management accounting, financial accounting, and business management, at a number of UK HE Institutions including Birkbeck and Queen Mary (University of London) over a number of years. As one of the School’s E-Learning Champion’s Lynsie has a keen personal interest in using new learning technologies within accounting education and is extensively involved in the ongoing development and applications of such technologies within the School and feeding-in to UCL as a whole. She is also currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education, focusing on Learning Technologies. Lynsie has a proven track record of delivering what can be a ‘dry’ subject of accounting/finance in an innovative way, delivering knowledge and understanding with humour and practical experience. She is co-editor/co-author of three Pearson Custom textbooks and actively engages in international scholarship activities within the fields of Accounting Education, Learning Technologies, Accounting and Sustainability, and Management Accounting.
