1998年毕业于北京医科大学预防医学系。1998至2003年在北京大学公共卫生学院流行病与卫生统计学系学习，获博士学位。2005年至2006年赴美国加州大学洛杉矶分校公共卫生学院做访问学者。自2003年留校任教以来，一直主讲研究生课程《计算机程序包在流行病学中的应用》，并参与本科和研究生《流行病学》方法课程的教学。自2003年起，自行制作的教学课件与课程同步公开在网络上发布；且最早独立编译了数据录入管理软件《EpiData使用手册》，免费在网上发布。

Jun Lv graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing Medical University in 1998 and received her Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology from Peking Univerisity in 2003. She was a visiting scholar at the School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles from 2005 to 2006. She has been teaching graduate course of “Application of software packages in epidemiological studies” and courses of epidemiologic methods for under- and graduate students since 2003. She has been putting her work of “Epidata manual in Chinese” and teaching materials online with unrestricted access since 2003.
